When I read the story of Modest Coffee, I was truly inspired. Their story, unlike many others, focuses on how they began roasting coffee in a popcorn maker and eventually moved up to an Ambex, with no clue as to what their next step would be. Reading about their humble beginning is what made me decide to try their subscription. It had nothing to do with the coffee itself. Instead, it reminded me of why I wake up every morning and decide which coffee machine to use or whether I should do a pour over or frenchpress. Sure, maybe I became a little snobbish about the quality of my coffee but, really, it's because I have a passion for not only brewing, but also creating blends and flavors that people can enjoy.
Modest Coffee has 6 different subscription options that all vary from one another. Make sure you read each option closely, here, before choosing. The six options are The Modest, The Enthusiast, The Collector, The Espresso, The Decaf and The Sampler. (Note: The Sampler gives you 3 1/2 bags containing The Modest, The Enthusiast and The Collector) We went ahead and ordered a trial of The Collector. The Collector consists of coffees that are small lot, 500% and higher index, scored a 90 or above and are very rare and unique. Usually, I'm not a fan of lighter roasts but I found this particular one to be quite decent. I would definitely recommend it for someone who is just developing their palette or prefers a lighter roast with a fuller body. #TheCoffeePsychopaths https://www.modest.coffee/
