Blue Bottle Coffee, launched in 2014, was the first coffee subscription we decided to try. They offer 3 different subscription options including blend, espresso or single origin assortments. Their subscriptions are affordable, starting at only $8 and have a flat $5 shipping fee. The coffees are whole bean and can be purchased as a half bag, standard bag, double bag or triple bag. You can also choose to have coffee delivered to your house every week, two weeks, three weeks or monthly.
When we first tried Blue Bottle, we ordered a sample to see how the coffee was. Turns out, it was so good, we went ahead and tried the subscription. We chose the half bag, blend assortment, which favors those who enjoy darker roasts. That half bag was gone in less than a week, which was the average time frame in which 1-2 coffee drinkers would enjoy the coffee. Then again, we aren't average. Blue Bottle currently has cafe's in the US and Japan, as well as retail partners across the US. Unfortunately, the closest locations to us are in NY, NJ and CT. You can find the nearest Blue Bottle Cafe here. Do you enjoy cold brew? Well, you are in for a treat because Blue Bottle has two types of "Road Trip Coffee". They have their Cold Brew and New Orleans-Style Iced Coffee for those who enjoy their coffee on the rocks. We got really excited when we saw Whole Foods was listed as their partner. Unfortunately, the Whole Foods in North Carolina is not on that list. I guess we can't try that New Orleans coffee just yet. I'm just kidding! Blue Bottle already thought of those who don't live near a cafe or retail partner. So yes, you can try that delicious New Orleans-Style Iced Coffee after all. There's only one catch. You gotta make it yourself! The New Orleans Iced Kit can be purchased online and made in the comfort of your kitchen. Don't worry, they have step-by-step instructions on how to make it just right. (Note: The Kit comes with a 12 oz bag of beans and a 1 oz bag of chicory. You will have to purchase the other ingredients yourself.) #TheCoffeePsychopaths #TheCoffeeSnob #TheCoffeeJerk https://bluebottlecoffee.com/
