Moustache Coffee Club was another one of those subscriptions we found just browsing around for some more quality coffee that we could indulge in. We started off with a free trial that exceeded our expectations. We received the 'Buena Esperanza' from Guatemala. Our first thought...We should have made the whole bag! The 'Buena Esperanza' was smooth with strong floral notes that left us wanting some more of where that came from.
Their subscription is straight forward, offering 6 or 12 oz bags delivered weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The 6oz is $13 and the 12oz is $19. The 6oz is perfect if you are someone who maybe drinks 1 cup a day and looking to try a new coffee weekly or rotate between brands. However, if you happen to drink multiple cups a day, I say go with the 12oz because this coffee is amazing. For those who may want to go ahead and pay for their subscription 6 or 12 months in advance or keep their offices stocked, there are options. The Solo Artist is a 12 month subscription where you receive 1, 12 oz, bag of coffee bi-weekly. The Duet is a 6 month subscription where you receive 1, 12 oz, bag of coffee weekly. Both of these options cost the same and come with a FREE 8-Cup Chemex! Now, for those of you who only want the best of the best, try the MCC Tasting Series. This subscription is for those of you who are looking for rare, delectable coffees that passionate connoisseurs truly appreciate. You will receive a 2oz or 6oz coffee sample every month for $19. We’ve already signed up, so what are you waiting for? #TheCoffeePsychopaths https://www.moustachecoffeeclub.com/

Stumptown Roasters - the only reason why I need to visit Portland, Oregon. All of my west coast friends agree it is one of the best roasters in the West. Last fall, while browsing around Target, I came across Stumptown's Winter Cheer. It was incredible! So, of course, I had to add them to our coffee subscription list.
For their subscription, you can choose between your favorite blend or their Roaster's Pick. However, they only ship bi-weekly. So, be prepared, just in case you finish your bag before the week is over, like we did. You also have the option of subscribing to 1, 8oz bag or 1 to 3, 12 oz bags. First, let's take a look at their numerous blends to choose from, starting at $16. Hair Bender - this blend features a mix of coffees from Latin America, Africa and Indonesia Holler Mountain - this signature blend is perfect for any espresso lover House Blend - this blend is fruity and floral, perfect for all coffee lovers French Roast - this roast is for the dark roast lovers like myself Trapper Creek Decaf - the coffee they say you can't distinguish from it's caffeinated version Want to know what the Stumptown crew is sippin' on? Sign up for their Roaster's Pick and find out! This coffee is their "Best of the Best". Not ready to commit to a subscription? Don’t worry. They offer a free 2oz sample of their Hair Bender blend to entice you. #TheCoffeePsychopaths #TheCoffeeSnob #TheCoffeeJerk #StumptownCoffee https://www.stumptowncoffee.com/ As a Tech guy I knew I had to try Bean Box. You may be wondering what that has to do with a coffee subscription. Well, let me tell you. The founders of Bean Box and I share a similar background. We both have a background in Engineering and, just like they said "coffee mania and engineering go hand in hand." Honestly, I can't trust an engineer who doesn't drink coffee. It's the only way we can function, after hours of contributing to the evolution of technology.
Before I forget, I want to mention that this company is based in Seattle, which we all know is the Coffee Capital of our country. The subscription, less than 5 years old, started back in 2014. Featuring over 24 top Seattle and Portland roasters, this subscription allows you to taste a plethora of the best coffee in the country. You can choose between four different 1.8 oz bags or one 12 oz bag of their coffee of the month. They also offer weekly, bi-weekly and monthly deliveries. Unfortunately, you can't choose your coffee but you can choose your preferred type of bean, which includes every roast as well as decaf and espresso. Of course, we went for the four different 1.8oz bags, to get the most variety of flavor. We wanted the opportunity to sample several of their roasts. Which was our favorite, you say? I honestly can't remember because they were all just that darn good. (FYI: If you happen to know someone who is just as nuts for coffee as we are, check out their coffee gifts. They have a ton of options for the typical coffee addict, including gift certificates, gift baskets, corporate gifts and coffee gear.) #TheCoffeePsychopaths #TheCoffeeJerk #beanboxcoffee https://beanbox.co/ |
